| Toothbrush Technology There had been frequent development of using toothbrush and its physical features from the ancient times up to the present. People in different ages had already been practicing dental care and so thus using toothbrushes or a device to clean their teeth. Below is the discussion of the evolutions of the Toothbrush Technology.
Past
• In 5000 B.C., Egyptians used twigs made by smashing one end of a stick as their tool in cleaning their teeth. • The first real toothbrush was invented by the Chinese using the wild boar neck-hairs as bristles in 1400. • Europeans in 1600’s uses rag ties with a stick and dipped it salt. • The first modern toothbrush invented by William Addis of England in 1780 with cow hairs and a bone handle. • In the 1920's, toothbrush handles are now made of plastic called celluloid. • In 1885, the Florence Manufacturing Company of Massachusetts, in association with Dr. Rhein, began mass-marketing the Prophylactic brush, with wooden handles and natural bristles. Present
• Nylon bristle toothbrush, made with nylon yarn • Electric toothbrush
Future
• Laser toothbrush o provides the user super-white teeth in an instant. o Does not need toothpaste and water in brushing. It radiates laser on teeth o It is a medical laser toothbrush that helps decrease sensitivity, toothache pain, inflammation, and even helps eliminate bad breath.

whew..if it cost cheaper than going to a dentist, I would surely buy this product! hehehe
