Siege Weapons

-are weapons used by the ancient and the present soldiers to break enemy's wall. Or to make opening to attack or to destruct them.Generally speaking, siege warfare is a form of constant, low intensity conflict characterized by one party holding a strong, static defensive position. Consequently, an opportunity for negotiation between combatants is not uncommon, as proximity and fluctuating advantage can encourage diplomacy.

ahm, vince hitler's smart bomb can be considered as a present device because the concept of his smart bomb can be classified as a missile. And I have stated on the list of my present technology missiles.

vince, I think land mines are not considered as siege weapons because as what i have read siege weapons are only used to break or to attack enemy's wall. Landmines i think is for defensive purposes.

Paul, try to study the technology that will possible used in the revenges in Korea or war in Afghanistan, Iraq or even Palestine. Then clearly state some features to be developed to prove what will be the future of siege weapons in this Information Age.

future technology specification

The future technology that we are trying to represent is a missile. The missile has a built in camera in its tip to track enemy. After the missile has found its target, it will divide itself into three parts.

The head which is consist of 100 explosives that has built in cameras. These built-in cameras will search for possible target, it will scan a limited area. In that area, the camera will now compare images of possible targets, like tanks, soldier, planes, and other war machine. The explosive will now lock on the first target it sees and blow it away. This is to ensure, that no civilian, animals, terrains will be hurt. All explosives that doesn't have targets will not explode.

The body which is consist of metal. It will not explode it only bring balance to the missile.

The engine, will not also explode after the missile has reached it's target.

Missile with three parts(head, body, engine)

Composition of the head
- built in camera to clearly see the target
- 100 tiny explosive with built-in camera(each explosive has the power to destroy a tank)
- GPS (to track where the warhead or the missile is)

Composition of the body
- to give balance to the missile
- looks like a tube

Composition of the engine
- wings(serves as the navigator)
- main engine(to make the missile fly)
